- Yes, but since the Shinkansen service started in 1964, we have been able to go from Tokyo to Osaka in less than three hours.
- Mary :
- I see. If we had no super express service, it would be difficult to make one-day business trips from Tokyo to Osaka.
- Ken :
- Within 20 years, ❶however, we might be able to get from Tokyo to Osaka in about an hour. This is because a new type of train called the “linear motor car” will be used.
