The maglev service will be the fastest ground transportation system in Japan. I think it will be popular for two reasons. First, the maglev train will go about twice as fast as the Shinkansen. It will take around 40 minutes from Shinagawa to Nagoya. Second, the fare will be about the same as that of the Shinkansen. I am sure people will love it.
