I would like to introduce the Kintaikyo Bridge in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.// The Kintaikyo Bridge is often called one of Japan’s most elegant wooden bridges.// It was completed in 1673 and continued standing until 1950.// That is when it was struck by a strong typhoon and collapsed, but fortunately, it was rebuilt in 1953.// Look at this photo.// The bridge has five beautiful arches on huge pillars.// I really like this bridge.//
