We Are Part of Nature

You’re a popular animal photographer. You especially enjoy taking cat photos. I’d like to know your secret/for taking great photos!

Iwago:

Thank you. My secret is to love cats. To spend a lot of time with them is the key. When you understand their lifestyles,/you can find chances/for wonderful photos.

Emma:

When did you decide/to become an animal photographer?

Iwago:

When I was 19. My father went to the Galapagos Islands/to take photos. I went there/to help him. Boobies hatched from eggs/in front of my eyes. A sea lion patted my shoulder. I was happy/to get close to them. Those experiences were exciting.

Emma:

Why do you take photographs of nature?

Iwago:

Today,/many children don’t have a chance/to see nature in the wild. I want to take pictures/in order to develop their interest. We have lessons/to learn from nature. We are part of it. We are in nature’s circle of life. We must remember that.
