SECTION 3
At the party,/the nobleman’s son greeted Oshin. They talked happily/and had a great time.
Soon the sun went down. Oshin bowed to him/and said goodbye. As she rushed to her coach,/she left the fan behind. The nobleman’s son picked it up. “I wish I could see her again,”/he said to himself.
Oshin got home at six o’clock/and everything changed back. Soon Oshin’s stepsister returned in a bad mood/with her mother.
“What a terrible party!”
“Who was that stupid girl with the son?”
SECTION 4
The mysterious beauty wasn’t at the second party. The nobleman ordered his servants,/“Find the woman/who knows the picture on the fan. She will be my son’s wife!”
The servants reached Oshin’s house. Her stepmother and stepsister were silent/but Oshin answered,/“Waves and white chrysanthemums.”
The nobleman and his son finally found Oshin! The son and Oshin married/and lived happily ever after.
