What Robots Can and Cannot Do
We can program robots to do many things. For example, robots can say “hello.” They can take a photo and play music. They can make us a snack while we bathe. Robots can add and subtract numbers. They can even do complex math. We can program robots to plan a trip to the beach. Some robots will respond if we talk to them. In addition, robots can inform us about new events or the lunch menu.
However, there is a limit to what robots can do. Robots cannot relax. They cannot eat hot dogs. They will not use napkins. Robots cannot catch a virus and cannot hiccup. Robots won’t have a tantrum or get upset if they fail a test. Moreover, they won’t brag about winning a math contest.
In conclusion, we can program robots to be very smart, but they still cannot do lots of simple little things that we humans do without even thinking.
