1When I read the letter from Hoshino to the mayor of Shishmaref, I thought he was a proactive and empathetic man.  2At the age of 20, he decided to go to Alaska and even to ask the mayor for help.  3It may have been a little impolite, but I think he did that because he would help anyone if he were the mayor.  4Another reason is that Hoshino was empathetic.  5As a photographer, he shared his photos of beautiful scenery with other people because he believed such photos would ease their minds when they are depressed.
　　6I admire both his work and his personality.
