1One of our most serious environmental issues is global warming.  2It is a result of many of humankind’s activities.  3Driving cars and burning things both produce CO2.  4Such gases collect in the atmosphere and trap heat like a blanket.  5Global warming causes ocean levels to rise, which results in taking away habitats of many species, including humans.  6We have to look for ways to reduce CO2 emissions.
