Proverbs
Sometimes proverbs in different languages/have a similar message.// Do you know the English proverb,/“when in Rome,/do as the Romans do”?//
It means/you should follow the customs of local people/when you are there.// In Japanese,/it is expressed as “go ni itte wa go ni shitagae.”//
Another example is/“birds of a feather flock together” and “rui wa tomo o yobu.”// Both of them mean/that people of similar character or taste/often join with one another.//
Maybe people in different cultures/do think alike!//
