Mother Poulard’s Omelets
 The most famous omelet restaurant in France/is “La Mère Poulard,”/or “Mother Poulard.”// In 1888,/Annette Poulard opened an 例 inn,/or a small hotel,/at the entrance of Mont-Saint-Michel.// Many hungry pilgrims came to eat at her inn,/so she needed a dish/that was simple and easy to cook.// Omelets were the answer!//
 The basic recipe was very simple.// The ingredients,/things used for making the dish,/were just eggs and butter.// They were easy to get/and to store on the tiny island.//
 Her omelets were delicious and nutritious.// Travelers felt strong and healthy/after eating them.//
