A small recording instrument,/which is called a data logger,/is attached to animals. Carrying the logger,/the animals collect data/in the natural environment. Biologging has developed/since the 1980s. Japan now leads the world/in this new technology.
The data logger has realized the dream of studying the behavior of aquatic animals,/such as penguins or seals. Before,/we couldn’t track them/once they dived into the sea.
