Cappadocia, Central Anatolia,Turkey//

The Cappadocia Kingdom was established in 332 B.C. // During the Roman era, the area erved as a shelter for early Christians. // There are also several underground cities used by early Christians as hideouts in Cappadocia.//
The combination of landscape and architecture makes Cappadocia one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the world. // Cappadocia today is a popular tourist site.// There are many hotels, the most interesting of which are built in caves.//
Cappadocia is accessible by road, rail, and air. // There are daily nonstop flights from Istanbul. // The station at Kayseri is accessible by train from almost any city in Turkey. // Buses are also available. // It takes 12 hours from Istanbul and five hours from Ankara by bus.//
