What If I Didn’t Have My Smartphone?
Smartphones are so much a part of our lives now that I can hardly remember a time when I did not have one. I got mine soon after I graduated from junior high school. I find it very, very useful. I can use it to contact my family and friends, anytime, anywhere. In addition, there are lots of functions, for checking train timetables or the weather, for example, and even helping me with my schoolwork. If I didn’t have my phone, I would probably feel anxious, frustrated, and even isolated and lonely.
However, there may be some advantages to not having a smartphone. If I didn’t have one, I could maybe get more exercise and, perhaps, a bit more time to study. Also, I could have more time to talk to my family and friends in person. That would be great.
