Hi Yui. How have you been? It’s been a really long time since I received an email from you. I’m writing to you today because I want to know something about what Japanese people think about blood types.
The other day, a Japanese exchange student asked me, “What is your blood type?” I asked her why she had asked me that question and she replied, “I’m type A. I’m a cautious person, and you always take the lead, so I think maybe you’re type B.” She told me that many Japanese people think blood types determine a person’s personality, and that there are some combinations that go well with each other.
I have no idea why Japanese people believe such things. Do you believe that a person’s personality is determined by his or her blood type? Emma
