　In April 2020,/“Lean On Me” was sung by “ArtistsCAN”/as a part of the COVID-19 relief effort/in Canada.// ArtistsCAN consisted of 27 Canadian singers,/who sang part by part/online.// The purpose of this project/was to support people/who fought against the coronavirus pandemic.//
　The song was originally sung by Bill Withers/and became a big hit/in the US in 1972.// Ever since,/many artists have covered it/on occasions/where people need support.//
　The song has a key message:/it is important for people/to understand each other’s weaknesses/and provide mutual support.// For example,/some people may feel relieved/to hear the lyrics/“Sometimes in our lives/we all have pain.”// Others may be reassured/by the words/“Lean on me/when you’re not strong.”// “Lean On Me” is a song/that encourages people in difficult times.//
