　　I am interested in SDG Goal 1: No Poverty.// This is because many children worldwide cannot succeed in life because of their financial situation.// Poverty has been linked to poor nutrition, low academic achievement, and depression.//
　　If we fulfill this goal, money will become less of an important factor in people’s day-today lives.// Social differences will also be much smaller.// A more balanced society will help people everywhere to achieve their dreams.//

　私は、SDGsの目標1「貧困をなくそう」に興味があります。なぜなら、世界には経済的な理由から人生で成功できない子どもたちがたくさんいるからです。貧困は、栄養失調、学力低下、気持ちの不調につながっています。
　この目標が達成されれば、人々の日々の生活の中での金銭面はより重要でなくなります。社会的な格差も小さくなるでしょう。もっとバランスのとれた社会になれば、人々はどこでも夢を実現できるようになるでしょう。

　　I’m interested in SDG Goal 2: Zero Hunger.// This is because I think global food resources are not evenly distributed.// Advanced countries are wasting food while other countries are struggling to get enough food.//
　　In the future, we should equally distribute the food we have so that everyone can get enough nutrition, which is a fundamental requirement for a happy life.// If we attain this goal, people can live longer and more fulfilling lives.//

　私は、SDGsの目標2「飢餓をゼロに」に興味があります。それは世界の食糧資源が平等に分配されていないからだと思います。先進国は食料を浪費し、他の国々は十分な食料を得るために苦闘しています。
　将来、誰もが十分な栄養をとれるように食料を平等に分配すべきで、それは幸福な生活を送るための基本的な要件でもあります。もしこの目標を達成できれば、人々は長生きしてもっと満足な生活を送ることができるようになります。

　　I’m interested in SDG Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy.// This is because pollution and climate change are becoming more and more serious every year due to our reliance on fossil fuels.//
　　A world with affordable and clean energy will have fewer wars because countries will achieve energy independence.// The environment will be cleaner, so people will get fewer diseases such as cancer.// It will be a truly happier place.//

　私は、SDGsの目標7「エネルギーをみんなにそしてクリーンに」に興味があります。なぜなら、化石燃料に依存することで、公害や気候変動が年々ますます深刻化しているからです。
　手頃な価格でクリーンなエネルギーがある世界では、各国がエネルギー面で自立するため、戦争が少なくなるでしょう。環境もきれいになるので、がんなどの病気も少なくなるでしょう。それは、実に幸せな状況と言えるでしょう。

　　I’m interested in SDG Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.// This is because both businesses and individuals generate so much unnecessary waste these days.//
　　In the future, technology will help businesses and individuals make smarter decisions to avoid such waste.// Businesses will understand exactly how much to produce to make the most profits while using the fewest resources.// And people will know exactly how much food, clothing, and other daily necessities they need to get by.//

　私は、SDGsの目標12「つくる責任、使う責任」に興味があります。これは企業と個人の両方が最近、非常に多くの不必要な廃棄物を出しているからです。
　将来、科学技術の手助けによって、企業と個人がこのような廃棄物を避けるためより賢明な選択をするようになるでしょう。企業はどうやって最も少ない資源を使って最大の利益を生み出すかを正確に理解するでしょう。そして人々は生活していくためにどれだけの食料や衣類、その他の生活必需品が必要か、正確に知るでしょう。
