　　Our class has decided to organize a charity flea market for our school festival.// In order to connect the students with the local community, I propose the following project.//
　　We should open a café and donate the proceeds to the “children’s cafeterias” around the city.// We could open the café in the school parking lot where there’s plenty of space.// If our menu includes dishes made using local products, I expect more people from the community will visit our café.//

　私たちのクラスでは、文化祭でチャリティ・フリーマーケットを開催することにしました。生徒たちと地域社会をつなぐために、私は次のような企画を提案します。
　私たちはカフェを開いて、収益を町中の「子ども食堂」に寄付するべきです。カフェは、スペースが十分な学校の駐車場でオープンするとよいかと思います。地元の食材を使って作られるメニューを提供すれば、地域からより多くの人たちが私たちのカフェに来てくれると思います。

　　I would like to sell our classmates’ old uniforms and school supplies.// Some of them are only used for a short time, so they should be reused.// I think it will be especially helpful for families with children who will be entering the school.//

　私たちのクラスでは、文化祭でチャリティ・フリーマーケットを開催することにしました。生徒たちと地域社会をつなぐために、私は次のような企画を提案します。
　私は、クラスメイトの古い制服や学用品を販売したいです。それらの中には、短期間しか使われていないものもあるので、再利用したほうがよいと思います。これから入学する予定の子どもがいる家庭には、特に役に立つと思います。

　　I would like to set up a stage in the center of the market for performances by our classmates and locals.// For example, do you know the rock band Space Jellyfish?// Their lead singer graduated from our school, so I’m sure they’d perform for us.// They could also play with our school band.//

　私たちのクラスでは、文化祭でチャリティ・フリーマーケットを開催することにしました。生徒たちと地域社会をつなぐために、私は次のような企画を提案します。
　私は、フリーマーケットの中央に、クラスメイトや地元の人たちによるパフォーマンスを行うためのステージを設置したいと思います。例えば、Space Jellyfish というロックバンドを知っていますか。このバンドのリードボーカルは私たちの学校を卒業しているので、きっと私たちのために演奏してくれると思います。彼らは、私たちの学校のバンドとも一緒に演奏してくれるかもしれません。

　私は、フリーマーケットで写真スタジオを開くことを提案します。ご存じのとおり、私は写真部の部長です。そしてクラスには他に二人の部員がいます。スタジオでは、地域の人々は私たちの制服を着て写真を撮るためにお金を払います。
