My Trip to San Francisco
This summer, I visited San Francisco for a whole month.//
It was my first time there.//
I stayed with a local family and learned a lot about American culture from them.//
They considered me a part of their family, and I had a great time every day talking with them.//
During the stay, I learned from them that everyone in the house, including the guests, should be responsible for household chores.//
I also had many wonderful experiences outside of the house.//
During weekdays, I went to a language school and studied English.//
At first, it was difficult for me to understand what the teachers were saying, but gradually it got easier.//
Someday, I want to visit the school again to improve my English skills even more.//
On weekends, I enjoyed sightseeing in the city.//
I went to Fisherman’s Wharf and had their famous lobster.//
Also, I rode a cable car, which gave me outstanding views of the city.//
One more thing I should add: I met Ren and David at a café downtown where we shared our experiences.//
We talked about the difference between American and Japanese culture.//
It was so lovely to meet my classmates away from school.//
