A Forest Bath
There are three good reasons/to take a bath every day. First,/soaking in hot water/makes you sweat. This helps enhance your body’s overall function. Second,/the water pressure improves your blood flow. Third,/floating in warm water/makes your body lighter. This relieves muscle and joint stress. Research shows/that people who soak in the bath every day/feel happier than those who don’t. Taking a daily bath refreshes you/physically and mentally.
Have you ever heard of a “forest bath”? The expression “forest bath,”/or “forest therapy,”/describes relaxing in a forest and connecting with nature. By breathing in the fresh air,/our spirit is renewed/through sight,/hearing,/smell and touch. We are refreshed like in a warm bath. Open-air baths,/or rotenburo,/combine a “forest bath” and a “hot spring bath”/for double the therapeutic benefits! Maybe that is why they are popular in Japan.
