Should We Do Volunteer Work?

Chairperson :

Today’s proposition is “High school students should do volunteer work.”  First, we’ll hear the affirmative side.

Ken :

I think high school students should do volunteer work.  If you do some volunteer work, you will make people around you happy.  For example, you can clean up around your town.

Mary :

Well, I don’t agree with you, Ken.  Even if we cleaned up our town, it would soon be untidy again.  Volunteering won’t stop people from throwing out things on the street.  They are so careless.  I wish people would do more to keep the town clean.
