Saving Our Planet

Ken :

Floods have become more frequent.  Forests are disappearing.  Sea levels are rising.  We see such news about the environment almost every day.

Mary :

I’ve heard that many animals are dying out because of pollution.  For example, sea turtles can no longer find places on the beaches to lay their eggs.

Ken :

The earth’s environment is changing very fast.  What can people do about it?

Mary :

I also heard that turtles are coming back to the beaches in Costa Rica.  This is because the Costa Rican government is trying to protect their environment.
